The Redmi Note 12 5G just received a big price cut ahead of Xiaomi’s big Redmi Note 13 series unveiling in India. The Redmi Note 12 5G to that effect has become cheaper by up to Rs 3,000, marking a significant reduction over the launch price.
The Note 12 5G comes in a choice of 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB trims. While previously they were selling for Rs 17,999, Rs 19,999, and Rs 21,999, post the price revision, they are available for Rs 15,499, Rs 16,999, and Rs 18,999, respectively.
Under the hood, it has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS2.2 storage. This is expandable. The phone runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and is guaranteed to get 2 years of major OS and 4 years of security updates. Powering the Note 12 5G is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
For photography, the phone has a triple camera setup on the rear which is a combination of a 48-megapixel main, 8-megapixel ultrawide, and another 2-megapixel macro. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
