Samsung can’t catch a break with the Galaxy S24 series leaks. Frankly speaking, there are getting a little out of hand now. While unofficial channels are one thing, Samsung can’t seem to keep its official sale partners in check, too. Everything from the launch date— which is all but confirmed for January 17— to its grand plans to bring AI at the heart of the new Galaxy line-up, is out in the open. Some online reports have also given us a probable look at some of the pre-order benefits that Samsung is planning, while others dive deeper into how it might price the upcoming Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra.

Retailers in Brazil have started to put up billboards well in advance at prominent locations and while it may seem business as usual, having renders out and about before launch means a field day for the Internet. Needless to say, pictures of the said advertisements are going viral whether Samsung likes it or not. Headlined by the top-of-the-line Galaxy S24 Ultra with its signature flat expansive display and colour-matched S-Pen stylus, a big takeaway —as it is with most other leaks, too— is Samsung’s push for generative AI features which are expected to be a big marketing gig across the whole line-up. A couple of those also leaked recently including one that seems heavily inspired from Google’s Magic Eraser from the Pixel 8 Pro.

Walmart, too, seems to have jumped the gun and “leaked” the Galaxy S24 Plus listing the phone’s 12GB RAM Onyx Black variant ahead of launch. Here, too, generative AI was the centre of attraction corroborating ongoing rumours of Generative Edit and Nightography Zoom among other things.

I also heard the news about the price reduction of S24 series from my source. It is said that the stock of S24 Ultra and S24+ is very large this time. Samsung is very optimistic about this generation of products, and so am I. You know, I haven’t given such a positive evaluation…

South Korean media is meanwhile reporting that Samsung might bump the storage at no extra charge for pre-ordering customer’s which is to say that those who reserve a 256GB model could get the 512GB version. Pre-ordering customers would also stand a chance to get the Galaxy Buds FE and an unspecified Galaxy Watch at discounted prices, the reports add. Elsewhere, a separate leak coming from noted tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) suggests the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus might cost less than their predecessors at launch. The S24 Ultra is tipped to cost more than the S23 Ultra, though.

Samsung is widely expected to launch the Galaxy S24 series at a global Unpacked event on San Francisco on January 17. Samsung is expected to rope in features like a titanium frame (for the ultra-model) and Qualcomm’s fastest chip inside a familiar design, though with improved cooling for seemingly more sustained gaming performance.
